SLONE, BETTY JO, 77 of Sebring, FL died August 22, 2012. She was born in Harlan, KY, moving to Sebring in 1999 from Louisville, KY. A member of Sebring Church of the Nazarene; she was preceded in death by her husband Ferrell Slone and daughter, Brenda Wilson. Betty Jo is survived by her loving family; daughter, Cathy Sloan Shepard; sons Ferrell Slone, Jr. and Gregory Slone all of Sebring; brothers, Bill Duff, Indiana, Charles A. Duff, Kentucky and Larry W. Duff, South Carolina; sisters, Julia W. Dartey, Kentucky and Francis Murphy, Georgia; grandchildren, Monica Shepherd, Melanie Bryant; great grandchildren, Jackie Bryant, Makinsey Joanna Pearson and Spencer Wyatt Pearson. Visitation 10:00 am, Monday with a service to follow at 11:00 am at Morris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Taylor officiating. Entombment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Placid, Fl.
