VOSBURGH, BEULAH (Bea) MacLEOD, 88 of Sebring, FL, passed away on August 12, 2010. She was born in Cambridge, MA, then moved to Quincy, MA and is a graduate of North Quincy High School and of Burdett College, Boston,, where she worked as a secretary until her marriage. She was the w widow of Lt. Col. (Ret.) Stephen E. Vosburgh. As a military wife, she lived in many states and Puerto Rico before they came to Sebring in 1967. Upon her husbands retirement from the service, she was a library technician at South Florida Community College for 11 years, retiring in 1981. Bea was a member and elder of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Sebring, and a member and past president of their Christian Women's Fellowship. She was a member and past president of the Sebring Friends of the Library, and a volunteer in their Used Bookstore and earlier in the Sebring Public Library. She was also a member and served on the board of the South Central Florida Chapter of the Military Officers' Association of America; a member of Sebring Historical Society and Highlands First Republican Womens Network. Surviving her are two sons and a daughter, Dr. Stephen E. Vosburgh (BJ), Land o' Lakes, FL, Dr. Richard M. Vosburgh, Las Vegas, NV, and Phyllis Braswell (John), Sebring; five grandchildren, Heath Braswell (Amy), Sebring; Stephen J. Braswell (Ali), Orlando, Kristin Johnston (Jameson), Gainesville, FL, Blake Vosburgh and Kelly Vosburgh, Houston, TX; six great grandchildren, Hayden, Gideon, Tyler, Grace, Ezekiel and Ashton. Visitation 3-5 pm, Sunday at Morris Funeral Chapel. A memorial service 3:00 pm, Monday, August 16, 2010 at First Christian Church with Pastor Ron Norton officiating.
