Candee Kay Ford

Candee Kay Ford, 59 of Sebring, passed away peacefully at home May 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 28, 1958, in Oswego, NY to Gordon S. Rose and Shirley Houghtaling Rose and moved to Sebring with her family in 1961. She was a graduate of Sebring High School Class of 1976, she enjoyed having fun with her many friends helping organize their reunions. Many knew Candee in her profession as a Claim Service Representative, having spent 23 years at State Farm bossing Jack Rhine around. She loved to spur laughter, make sure you were well fed and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Smokey Mountains and the beaches of Marco Island and Daytona. Candee leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Donald; son, Sam; daughter, Crystal; granddaughters, Hannah and Ruby; dogs, Odie and Boo; her parents, Gordon and Shirley Rose; mother-in-law, Hazel Ford; siblings, Pam (Brad) Beumel, Brian (Cathie) Rose, Greg (Laura) Rose, Joy Rose; Aunt Mary; in-law's, Sandra (Ira), Larry (Barbara), Cheryl, Frank (Robin); a host of nieces and nephews who will miss their special aunt dearly, and her best friend Cathi Conway Wall. Candee's friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 26th at the home of Larry and Barbara Ford at 655 Vaughn Road in Sebring at 12 Noon.
