Carl Dassinger, Jr., completed the final lap of his life on January 24, 2025. He was born September 8, 1958 to Carl Dassinger, Sr. and Helen Windholtz Dassinger in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a machinist by trade and was known by his last employer as a "Tool Maker Extraordinaire," retiring from Machine Technology in 2023. Carl leaves his wife of 34 years, Cyndi Sue, sons, Carl Dassinger III (Lauren), and Craig,. He was the youngest brother to Connie (Mike), Carlene (Tom), Gary (Luanne), Wayne (Ann) and Cheryl Weldy (Doug). He was predeceased by his parents, his mother-in-law, Nancy Lynch, brother-in-law, Mike Lynch and nephew, Wayne Weldy. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and his proudest moment was becoming a grandpa to Eva Dassinger. He was a proud member of Central Florida Sports Car Club of America for more than 30 years and loved to race and work as a pit crew member for the Dassinger Bros Racing Team.
In celebration of Carl's life, a drop-in visitation will be held at Morris Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Services entrusted to Morris Funeral Home, 307 S. Commerce Avenue, Sebring. On-line condolences may be left at www.morrisfuneralchapel.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center
