Carolyn Smith Caprio

CAPRIO, CAROLYN SMITH, 93 passed away Sept. 13th in Sebring, FL widow of the late George Joy Caprio, Sr. A native of CT she moved to Sebring from Hollywood, FL in 1976. She retired from The Palms Finance Office and was a lifetime member of The Palms Auxiliary and also took care of their Gift Shop. She was tenth generation lifetime member of the Reynolds Family Association in the Watertown MA line. She was a member of Friends of the Library and volunteered at the Sebring Public Library. She was also a DAR member at the local Patriots Chapter and a member of The Church of the Brethren where she was Financial Secretary. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn B. Lovell of E. Haven, CT and Susan J. Leahey of Danbury, CT; Twin sons, David R. Ragaini of Brookfield, CT and Donald R. Ragaini of Baldwin, MD; stepson, George J. Caprio, Jr. of Charles Town, WV; sisters, Gloria R. Elias of Mountville, PA and Myrna M. Gustafson of Stony Creek, NY.; brother, Donald G. Smith of Rockledge, FL; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.
A memorial Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 7th at 9:30 AM at The Palms of Sebring, Kesselring Square. Memorials may be made to The Palms Axillary or Sebring Church of the Brethren.
