LINGAR, CHARLES HUSTON, 89, of Sebring, died Saturday Feb. 18, 2012, at The Palms of Sebring. Born July 12, 1922, in Rockcastle Co., KY, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Minnie (Hunter) Lingar. Preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Robles Lingar in 2009, and his eight brothers and sisters, he was the last surviving member of his family. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. Charlie served in the US Navy during WWII. After the war, he lived and worked in the New York City area until his retirement. He moved to Sebring in the early 1960s. There will be a private service and interment will be at Armagh Cemetery in Indiana County, PA.
