Claude E. Forbes Jr

FORBES, JR, CLAUDE E., 92 of Sebring, FL died, Thursday at Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring. He was born in Valdosta, GA, son of Claude and Adele H. Forbes. He moved to Ft. Myers in 1921, then to Naples in 1939 following the marriage to Viola Keene. He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II. Claude was a commercial fisherman in Naples and Flamingo, retiring to Crystal River in 1990 then to Sebring in 1995. A past master of Cypress Masonic Lodge #295, Naples, FL. Preceded in death by his wife, Viola and a son, Gordon (Sparky) Forbes and is survived by his son, Lamar and his wife, Maggie Forbes, Sebring; daughter-in-law, Anita Forbes, Arcaddia, FL; brother, Tommy and his wife Juanita Forbes, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Gordon (Gordy) and his wife Kathy, Everglades, FL; Kim Parnell and her husband, Dwight, Lakeland, FL; Jessica Forbes, Pensacola, Fl; four great grandchildren.
