Dorothy (Just Dottie) Spencer

SPENCER, DOROTHY (Just Dottie), 95 of Sebring, FL died April 20, 2016. She was born in Damascus, VA, daughter of the late, Joseph S. and Vera (Russell) Gibson. Dottie married Lewis Grant Spencer, Jr. and they lived in Miami, FL for many years, moving to Sebring in 1981. Dottie worked for Central Bank for 25 years in Miami and Barnett Bank, Sebring for three years. A very active member of First Baptist Church and a past president of the Keenagers. Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Grant, who passed away Oct. 23, 2000. She is survived by daughters, Katherine (Calvin) Kelly, Sebring, Bobbie (Jim) Bolger, Coral Springs, FL and a son, Rev. Lewis G. (Betsy) Spencer, III, Levittown, PA; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends, Sunday 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a service to follow at 3:00 pm, First Baptist Church, Sebring. Pastors Allen Higgenbotham and Matthew Crawford officiating. Burial will be Monday 12:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The Family suggest memorials to First Baptist Church.
