Duane H. McNeil

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Rev. Duane Harold McNeil went to be with his Lord and Savior whom he loved and faithfully served. He was 93 years old, and his legacy is his passion for people to come to know the Lord. He pastored six Michigan churches in Sebewa, Dover, Britton, Sault Ste. Marie, Grand Rapids, and Rochester Hills. In addition, he served as interim pastor for several other churches in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Winona, and his wife of 14 years, Edith. Surviving are his wife, Joan of Sebring, FL; children, Sandra (Elwyn) Draper of Mount Pleasant, SC, David (Carol) McNeil of Adrian, MI, and Robert (Cynthia) of Shelby, MI; grandchildren, Trevor (Megan) Draper, Cortney (Jeremy) Draper Elam, Rachel (Nicolas) Jones, Kyle (Brittany) McNeil, Robin Dunn, Jill (Nicholas) Reed, and Katelyn (Steven) Lister; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring, FL, at 11:00 am, with visitation an hour before. The service will be available on Livestream at maranathabaptistsebring.org. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Maranatha Manor c/o Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring, FL. Arrangements by Morris Funeral Chapel.
