BATEMAN, A. EDWARD, 74 of Sebring, Fl died, Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Highlands Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gholson, Mississippi moving to Sebring in 1954. Edward had worked for Sebring Packing House, later for several years at Sevon Drive In. He began working in construction with Fred Wheeler and later was foreman for Stump Construction. In 1978 he founded Bateman and Sons Construction Company. Edward was a faithful member and a member of the Board of First Assembly of God. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Frances; sons and their wives, Mark (June), Eddie (Beth), Eugene (Cheryl), Jerry (Amy), James (Jodi) and Michael Bateman all of Sebring; sisters, Barbara Rahrig, Avon Park, FL and Anita Conners, Shuguala, MS; twenty three grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
