Eugene E. Burger

BURGER, EUGENE E., 85 of Lorida, FL, died August 13, 2017 in Tampa, FL. He was born in Marshall Co., IN, son of the late Elias and Bessie Burger. A graduate of Tyner High School, Tyner, IN. He had worked for Wabash, N.Y. Central, Pen Central and Con Rail, retired as a supervisor. Moved to Lorida in 1990 from Cleveland, OH and a member of Lorida Church of the Brethren. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Betty on Jan. 16, 2017. Survivors, Rodney Burger, Roachdale, IN, Eugene R. Burger, Philippines and Dennis Burger, Bradenton, FL; brother, Benjamin (Vicky) Burger, Lorida, FL; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Lorida Church of the Brethren. Memorials are requested to his church.
