Gabriel Angel Pulido, MD, 80 of Sebring, FL. was called to heaven September 20, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Matanzas, Cuba, he was a graduate of the The University of Havana Medical School and completed his residency in Pathology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He practiced medicine as a Pathologist at Mac Neal Memorial Hospital for 25 years. In 1984 he moved to Sebring Florida and became the Director of Pathology at Highlands Regional Hospital. In 1997, he founded Highlands Clinical Laboratory. Gabriel is survived by his loving wife Yolanda, four children, Laura, Gabriel, Marilyn and Carolyn, daughter in law Maggie, and three grandchildren, Lauren, Alex and Joshua. A celebration of his life will take place on September 25, 2012 at St. Catherine Catholic Church at 10 AM. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
