Jack F. Ebert, 84, of Sebring, Florida died Jan. 2, 2018. He was born in Aniwa, Wisconsin and serviced in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a mechanic and owned Jack's Standard Service in Northbrook, Illinois and also Northbrook Arco. Jack later purchased Family Pride Laundry and was the manager of Thorngate Golf Course Pro Shop, moving to Sebring in 1996 and worked in the Pro Shop at Country Club of Sebring and later at Harder Hall Executive Golf Course. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Robin (Tom) McCue of LaGrange, Indiana, Wendy (Peter) Schlax of Mundelein, Illinois, and Mike (Lisa) Ebert of Plymouth, Wisconsin, John Ebert of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; loving grandfather of Jennifer (Phil), Courtney, Bridgette, Nicole (Zak), John, Katie, Carl, Molly and Christopher; and his great-grandchildren, Max, Mason, Gus and Clara. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday with a Prayer Service to follow at 11 a.m. at Morris Funeral Chapel with Fr. Jose Gonzalez officiating.
