James J. Bozeman, 82, a lifelong resident of Sebring passed away January 24, 2025. He was born in Fort Myers, Florida and graduated from Sebring High School in 1961. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965 working on jet aircraft. Jim worked for Sebring Utilities and TECO before retiring. He volunteered at the Lake Country Elementery Library but his favorite job was babysitting his 3 grandsons. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Placid. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca in 2015 and his son Rich in 2020. He is survived by his daughters. Jennifer (Darryl) Wirick of Lake Placid, Erin Gercken; Son, Stephen Gercken; brother, Eddie, McDonough, GA; sisters, Jan Zabella, Hartwell, GA, Glenda Turner, Senoia, GA and Bobbie Ann Bozeman, Hartwell, GA, 3 grandsons, Jake, Luke and Kale. Services will be February 8, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Honors by Sebring VFW Post #4300.
