HUNTER, JAMES "ET", 97, died Friday. Born in Clemmons, NC. Retiring from RJR in 1970 he decided to come to Florida. He was a great lover of golf and discovered Sebring, then Sebring Golf Association where he joined January 6, 1970 shortly after coming to Florida. He loved the many he met here. He was a Christian and a member of St. John's Methodist Church. He is survived his wife of 47 years, Arline Hunter, a daughter, Barbara Rickard of Clemmons, a son, Jim Hunter of Concord, NC, a stepdaughter, Anita Gilley of Texas, brothers, Bill Hunter and John Hunter of Clemmons, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday at St.John's Methodist Church 10:30 a.m., reception to follow. In lieu of flowers anyone, who wishes, can made a donation to the Good Shepherd Hospice or a a favorite charity in his name.
