ROPER JAMES HARMON, 80 of Sebring. FL died August 31, 2011. He was born in Miami, FL and served twenty one years in the U.S. Army retiring as a Master Sgt. and a veteran of Viet Nam. He retired from Bell South in Miami moving to Sebring in 1990. A member of the Telephone Pioneers and First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine. He is survived by his wife, Elsie S. Roper, Sebring. Visitation 10:00 am, Saturday with a Celebration of his Life at 11:00 am at Morris Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
