Jode Henry Sprague, III

Jode H Sprague, age 88 of Sebring, FL went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He had been cared for by family and Good Shepherd Hospice after a brief illness.

Jode was born November 13, 1935 in Chicago, IL. A proud veteran of the US Air Force, he served his country with honor and dignity. After his time in the service Jode became an Illinois State Trooper, then worked as a US Postal Inspector and finally retired in 1995 from Sterling-Multi-Products as their Marketing Manager.

Jode was blessed to have found 2 loves in his lifetime. He married Linda Hope nee Wall Sprague in 1955 and was happily married until her death in 1994. He met Georganne (Micki) Wilson in 1998 where they shared many adventures until his death.

Jode was an avid fisherman, hunter, carpenter and golfer. His love of helping people showed through his 60 year membership to the American Legion; his work through the Shriners and Elks Clubs in Jackson, Wyoming & Sebring.

He is survived by his children Deborah (Jim) Bertram, Lisa Sprague and Jode H. Sprague, IV; his grandchildren Jacob Bertram (Sydney) of Brumley, MO and Lindsey Sprague Watts (Chris) of Erie, CO; his great grandchild Theia Bertram and many friends.
