WATSON, JR., JOHN CLARE, 71 of Sebring, died August 16, 2011. John was a native of Sebring, graduate of Sebring High School, class of 1957. He attended Stetson University, St. Petersburg, FL. John joined the Highlands County Sheriffs Department in 1960 and served as a Bailiff retiring in December 2002 as a Sergeant He served in the United States Air Force in Greenland and June 1, 1962 he married Barbara Sue Sims his bride of 49 years. John was a founding member of Bible Fellowship and he enjoyed ranching and was a former member of Highlands County Cattlemens Association. The family wants to give a special thanks to Linda Quarles and Lee Lewellyn for their devotion to John. John is survived by his loving family, wife, Barbara Sue Watson; daughters, Sharon (Robert) Underwood, Murfreesboro, TN and Mary Beth (Paul) Przychocki; son, John (Gena) Watson all of Sebring; grandchildren, Zachary Frensley, Alexandria Frensley, John Underwood, Molly Underwood, Cody Reed Watson, Riley Beau Watson, Lacey Ann Watson, Meghan Williams, Stephen Williams, Ski Przychocki, Lisa Smiling, Tammy Przychocki, Thorsten Przychocki. Services will be 2:00 pm at Bible Fellowship Church, 3750 Hammock Road. The family will receive friends following the service.
