HOLLYWOOD, JOYCE A.,57 of Sebring, FL died, Saturday, March 5, 2011. Joyce was born in Washington, DC, a graduate of Miami-Dade Community College, Miami, FL. She married Jerry Hollywood in 1975, moving to Sebring in 1978 and received her BA from Webber College, Babson Park, FL. Joyce worked at Sebring High School for several years and at the time of her death she was serving as Assistant Registrar at South Florida Community College. She was a member of St. Catherine Junior Womens Club and the church choir. Joyce was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Avon Park. She had a love for music and enjoyed playing her white baby grand piano and also enjoyed crocheting. Joyce will be greatly missed for her unconditional love, compassionate heart, unique simplicity and her generosity. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Jerry; mother-in-law, Virginia Hollywood both of Sebring; children and their spouses, Christy and Michael Lynn, Gainesville, FL; Brandon and Amanda Hollywood, Sebring; grandchildren, Carlie Jay Hollywood and Catherine Joyce Lynn. To honor Joyce's memory a music fund is being established at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for those who wish to contribute. Visitation 5-7 pm, Thursday at Our Lady of Grace. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 am, Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park with a time of fellowship and refreshments at 3606 Divot Road, Golf Hammock (the family residence) following the burial.
