Kathryn "Kay" Franklin Liles

Kathryn “Kay” Franklin Liles age 83, of Orlando passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025. She was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and moved to Orlando at age four. She was a fifth generation Floridian and a graduate of Boone High School and Florida State University. She served as a teacher both full and part time. Kay displayed the love of Jesus Christ with every person she encountered. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando and The Rosalind Club and Past President of Chi Omega Alumni Assn.   

Kathryn is survived by her two sons, William Liles (Luanne) Viera, FL and Wade Liles (Lynn) Orlando, FL; grandchildren Laura Smithman (Matt) Sun Valley, ID and Alexander Liles (Riley) Viera, FL; and several nieces and nephews.   

Celebration/Memorial Service, Friday, February 14, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Orlando (Henry Chapel) 11:00 a.m. with reception following. Visitation 10:00 a.m.   

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to First Baptist Church of Orlando.
