CARTER, LENA ELIZABETH, 100 of Sebring, Fl died, Dec. 5, 2012. She was born in Americus, GA and a member of Coral Baptist Church, Miami, FL moving to Lake Placid in 1987 and a former member of First Baptist Church, Lake Josphine. She moved to Sebring in 1971 and is a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church. She has resided in the Palms for the past two years. Lena was preceded in death by her late husband, Lemuel P. Carter; sons - Robert L. and Paul E. Carter. She is survived by her sons, George W. (Ruth) Carter, Albuquerque, NM and Charles David (Maria) Carter, Miami, FL; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Carter, Oakland, FL; sister, Virginia Moseley, Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Mark, Kathleen, Paul, Georgette, Travis, Christopher, Sarah and Kevin Carter, Daniel and Pablo Lafuente. Visitation 10:00 am till 11:00 am with a service 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Morris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Trinkle officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview MemorialGardens, Avon Parki, FL.
