BOWLES, MARY RADEBAUGH, 87, peacefully entered eternal rest in Christ at her daughter's home, surrounded by family, Monday, April 4, 2011. Born in Elkton, Maryland, July 26, 1923 to Albert Radebaugh and Ruth Preston Radebaugh she was a Quaker and of the Christian faith. She had been a lifelong member of the Little Falls Meeting of Belair, Maryland. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Raymond R. (Ray Ray) Bowles; and her son Terry Bowles. She was a graduate of Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA and lived in Spokane, WA before moving to Sebring, FL in 1965. Mary was the secretary of the Greater Chamber of Commerce for several years, together with working alongside the Ulmans for the Sebring 12 Hour Races. She finalized her career working for Florida Power, wherein she retired in 1988. She enjoyed many hobbies especially a love for sewing focusing on embroidery work. After her husband's death in 2006 she continued to live at her daughter's home where she developed a fondness for quilting, while enjoying her newest great granddaughters, Olivia and Cheyenne. She is survived by her son, Ray (Maria) Bowles of Colville, WA; her son, Al (Lucinda) Bowles and her twin daughters, Mary (Bob) Stephens and Barbara (Dennis) Riles all of Sebring. Along with nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Friday at Morris Funeral Chapel with the family receiving friends 30 minutes before.
