Richard O Asmussen

RICHARD O. ASMUSSEN, 98 of Sebring, FL passed away November 19, 2023 in Sebring.  Richard was born in Toledo, Ohio, son of the late Otto and Helen (Vick) Asmussen.  He was a veteran and served in the US Army during WWII and a retired Letter carrier for the US Postal Service.  He and his late wife Madalyn moved to Sebring in 1990 from Toledo, OH; he was a life member of the VFW Post #4300 in Sebring and was on the Honor Guard.  Richard was a members of the First Christian Church in Sebring.  He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Palmer and Cheryl Steele; eight Grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.  The visitation will be Tuesday, November 28th with Services 11:00 AM, at First Christian Church, Sebring with millitary honors to follow the service.  www.morrisfuneralchapel.com
