KIROUAC, RICHARD E., age 77 of Sebring, FL died, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at his residence. Richard was born in Leominster, MA, son of the late, Antonio and Ruth Kirouac. A veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Air Force. While on leave he married his wife, Kay and they lived on the Air Force base in Las Vegas, NV for the first year of marriage. They moved back to MA where they started their life together. Richard was a Sheet Metal Worker and was a member of Local Union #17. In the early 70's the family moved to East Andover, NH where they owned and operated the Village Green Country Store. In 1976 they relocated to Sebring, FL. Richard's first Florida job was with Long's Air Conditioning. He then went to work for Jim Blackman Ford. That inspired him to start his own business with his son Kenny, Colonial Motor Sales. Being the creative person that he was Richard started Video Van Express, an at home video delivery service. In 1985 he was the co-founder of Creative Printing which has been serving Highlands County for the past 24 years. Richard was preceded in death by parents; his twin brother Raymond and brother Spencer Kirouac. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kay; daughter, Pamela Ann Kirouac, Sebring; sons, Kenneth Paul, Concord, NC, Scott Anthony (Vicki), Stephen Christopher Pamela) all of Sebring; sister, Elise M. O'Connor, Mashpee, MA and grandchildren,Ashley Kirouac, Statesville, NC, Kimberly Frazier (Ryan), Kelli Winegard all of Sebring, Tiffanee Turk, Concord, NC, Racheal and Krystal Kirouac, Sebring, FL; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews throughout the country. Services will be held 5:00 pm, Sunday, September 27th at Morris Funeral Chapel, 307 S. Commerce Avenue, Sebring. The family will receive friends one hour prior (4-6 pm).
