Ronald Gene Ruble

RUBLE, RONALD GENE, 79 of Avon Park, FL died February 23, 2011. He was born in Pittsfield, IL; a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in Japan and Guam. A graduate of Western Illinois University and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Schaumburg, IL. He was a member of the retired Educators Association; National Educators Association; American Legion and V.F.W. Ronald moved from Big Pine Key, FL in 2000 to Highlands Ridge and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Michael Ruble, Antioch, IL; daughter and her husband, Cyndi and Dennis Cardiff, Elgin, IL; brothers, Frank and David Ruble both of Pittsfield, IL; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Private family services will be held in the Keys. The family requests friends support Florida Blood Centers with Blood Donations to honor Ronald.
