LINDBLAD, Sarah Coyle "Sally," 100, of Sebring, Fla., died November 22, 2009, in Lake Placid, Fla. She was born in Bartow, Fla., daughter of the late, Ernest Franklin and Ella Viola (Pate) Coyle. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Coyle; sister, Martha Coyle Young; stepdaughters, Eileen Johnson and Lorraine Countryman; husbands, Frederick W. (Jerry) Long and William Lindblad. She enjoyed life, traveling extensively around the world, enjoyed fishing and hunting in Africa. She was a military wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, teacher and Red Cross volunteer. She moved to Sebring in 1980, from Tacoma, Wash., and was of the Episcopalian Faith. She is survived by her stepson, Bill Lindblad of Portland, Ore.; nieces, Martha (Floyd) Yarbrough of Sebring, Fla., Nancy Williams of Avon Park, Fla. and Myra (Don) Pruitt of St. Louis, Mo.; nephews, Steve (Kathy) Young of Sebring, Randy (Rita) Coyle of Clewiston, Fla. and Wayne (Kathy) Coyle of Lakeland; 31 step- grandchildren; and 59 step- great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Morris Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Katsanis . Memorial contributions are requested to American Red Cross.
