PARNELL, VICKI L., 71, passed away on June 13, 2015. Vicki was born in Texarkana, AR, daughter of the late, Joseph M. and Della Mackleen (Thornsberry) Lipman. A graduate of Southside High School, Memphis, TN. Vicki was a resident of Zolfo Springs since 1973. She retired from Central Glass and Mirror in 2005. She married George M. Parnell in 1990 and a member of Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church. Vicki was preceded in death by her step-father, Jack H. Battle and mother, Macklean Battle, husband, Roy A. Brooks. She is survived by her loving husband, George M. Parnell; sons, David M. Maddox, Donald E. (Maria) Maddox all of Zolfo Springs; daughter, Laura Anne (Bobby) Smith; son, Dean F. Maddox all of Sebring; brother, Jack H. (Susan) Battle, Arlington, TN; sister, Tina (Dan) Lipman Pryor, Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren, Austin (Ashley) Maddox, Derek (Callie) Maddox, Chelsie M. (Corey) Bacon, Preston C. Smith and Dane Maddox; great granddaughter, Brynn Maddox. The family will receive friends 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Monday, June 15, 2015 with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am, Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Vicki's request is that all memorial contributions be made to her church building fund.
