Victor Manuel Astacio-Otero

Victor Manuel Astacio-Otero, 73, of Sebring, FL passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Sebring, FL. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico moving to Chicago, IL in 1988. In 2004 he moved to Sebring and built a home here. He was a veteran in the US Army serving during Vietnam. Victor worked as a Medical Technician at hospitals in Puerto Rico, Chicago and at Advent Health Sebring. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Eugenia (Otero) Astacio and son, Yamil Astacio. He is surived by his wife, Neomi Astacio, Sebring; Son, Victor “Natur” (Esmeralda) Astacio, Lake Wales, FL and Victor Astacio, Puerto Rico; five siblings; and 1 granddaughter, Bianca Belen Astacio, Lake Wales, FL. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 29th at 4:00 pm at Avon Park Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1701 N. Oleander Drive, Avon Park, FL 33825 with the funeral service at 5:00 pm with David Rilo, officiating. The VFW Post #4300 Honor Guard with follow the funeral service with military honors. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Arrangements handled by Morris Funeral Chapel, Sebring.
