W. David Ashenfelder

W. David Ashenfelder, of Sebring, FL, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. David was born August 18, 1937 in Milton, PA. and had just recently relocated to Maranatha Village in Sebring,FL. He was raised by his grandparents in the Northfield, OH area. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Carol Warren, and working in the construction and insurance fields, they relocated to coastal South Carolina to start a career in the hospitality industry. Retirement led them to the upstate of South Carolina and after spending some seasonal time in Florida, they decided to move to Sebring permanently. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ashenfelder; his sister, Florence Reid; his step-brother, Aaron Ashenfelder; his children, David Ashenfelder, Cynthia Ashenfelder, Dean Ashenfelder, Dwayne Ashenfelder, and Christine Taylor; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at Maranatha Baptist Church in Maranatha Village, Sebring, FL.
